This Privacy Policy describes how AI Scan, Sign & Send ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles your information when you use our iOS mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

AI Scan, Sign & Send is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal information and store everything locally on your device.

Device Permissions

The App requests the following device permissions:

• Camera Access -- Required for scanning documents using your device camera. Camera data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to any server.

Locally Stored Data

The following data is stored locally on your device:

• Scanned document images
• Saved signatures
• Generated PDF files
• Document metadata (file names, dates, page counts)
• App preferences and settings
• Usage statistics (export counts for free tier limits)

All document data is stored exclusively on your device. We do not have access to your scanned documents, signatures, or PDF files. There are no user accounts, no cloud storage, and no server-side document storage.

Third-Party Services

The App integrates with the following third-party services:

RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat for subscription and in-app purchase management. RevenueCat processes transaction data through Apple's App Store infrastructure. RevenueCat may collect anonymous device identifiers and purchase history for subscription management purposes. For more information, please refer to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

OpenAI

For Pro subscribers who use the AI Document Summary feature, document content is sent to OpenAI for processing. This is used solely to generate document summaries, extract key terms, and identify important information. OpenAI processes this data according to their API data usage policies and does not use API inputs for model training. For more information, please refer to OpenAI's Privacy Policy.

Note: AI features are optional and only available to Pro subscribers. Free users' documents are never sent to any external service.

Data Sharing and Selling

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

We do not share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. The only data shared with third parties is:

• Transaction data shared with RevenueCat/Apple for subscription management
• Document content shared with OpenAI only when Pro users explicitly use AI features

Data Security

Since all document data is stored locally on your device, the security of your data relies on your device's built-in security features (device passcode, Face ID, Touch ID). We recommend keeping your device software up to date and using a strong device passcode.

If you delete the App, all locally stored data (documents, signatures, PDFs) will be permanently removed from your device.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
